Balam is a Latin American restaurant in the Whistler Village Centre at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. You wouldn’t expect to find a great Latin restaurant in the mountains this far north but Balam is great. The self-proclaimed house of the jaguar has a very cool vibe with its in your face jungle theme. Most importantly, the food is delicious and comes in very good portions. While the pricing is expensive, it is comparable to any ski village that charges a little extra. This place is worth that price.
